Why Brazilian agency Nerau CX chose Duda as its website builder to produce sites at scale and increase profitability.
The Brazilian agency Nerau was launched informally in 2016 as a technology arm for specific marketing jobs. In 2017, the company experienced exponential growth. With an increasing focus on website conversion, Nerau ended up specializing in web design and development.
At the end of 2018, the company saw the demand for eCommerce sites emerge and began to operate with a particular focus on Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
Due to the increased demand for website creation, Nerau CEO CX Rafael Legnani began to identify some challenges in the small business verticals he served. “We saw many companies in the market that developed very beautiful websites, and many others that developed extremely functional websites,” said Legnani. “We wanted to combine a little of the two characteristics. Our goal was to create sites that are very beautiful, but convert more and bring higher profitability,” he continued.
With a vision consistently focused on growth, Nerau CX created its own workflows and began to implement CRO techniques during the site-building process. This was especially true in the case of eCommerce sites, which required an advanced look at conversion rate optimization.
Before Duda, Nerau CX used WordPress and other platforms that could not keep up with the modern demands for speed of development, quality and site stability.
"When Duda’s website builder arrived in Brazil, we were very interested in the solution that the company offered. I conducted a few tests and saw that it matched very well with the goals of Nerau, which included increased design flexibility and scalability," said Legnani.
Legani even decided to use Duda to create Nerau’s website. “We decided to use Duda to create our own site because of the ease of construction, excellent load times, and ease of management,” he said.
Currently, Nerau CX has an operational base of about 50 people distributed in different cities in Brazil. The development team represents 15 percent of the organization with the remainder made up of UX, SEO, analytic and support experts.
In 2020, Nerau CX expanded beyond Brazilian borders and now maintains customers in North America, Europe and Asia.
“Today, our CRO service has a very substantial footprint in the market and provides an excellent ROI for all or our customers,” said Legnani.
In the years ahead, Nerau is looking to expand its team and improve customer service. “We have many new services to launch, products to release and improvements to our CRO formula in our near future,” said Legnani. “The standard website created by Nerau CX is being completely redesigned and we have Duda to thank for it.”
